Working with Haida Artist Christian White’s existing Longhouse, Tluu Xaada Naay Cultural Center extension focuses on creating a cohesive design that incorporates a variety of carving, ceremonial, manufacturing and resting spaces. The design allows all abilities and people to access to connect with nature and culture. The incorporation of a Zen garden embraces intercultural understanding of wellbeing to bring a peaceful and welcoming place for storytelling and ritual.
